Welcome to Hemingway's Beach House, an adorable and newly furnished 4-bedroom beach house located directly across the street from Kellogg Park in the highly sought-after La Jolla Shores. This retreat has been refreshed and boasts a main house with three bedrooms and 1.5 baths, as well as a large detached suite with an ensuite bathroom and sliding patio doors in the back.

Enjoy the beach view from your dining table, and step outside - in just two minutes, you'll be in the sand! The house features private patio space, fruit trees (including avocado, figs, and limes), and the cozy ambiance of a 1930s beach house, all while offering modern luxuries.

Expertly staged by local favorite Suzanne Brown Designs, this beach house is the perfect getaway to enjoy the beaches of La Jolla. You'll be just steps from the sand, UCSD, the renowned Birch Aquarium, great surfing, and local favorite restaurants and shops in La Jolla Shores. With all of these attractions so close by, you won't need a car, although a one-car garage and driveway parking are available. The local farmers market, grocery stores, and the elite shops and restaurants of the downtown village of La Jolla are all just a short 5-minute drive away.

When you're ready to venture beyond La Jolla, downtown San Diego, the Zoo, Gaslamp District, San Diego Bay, and the Marina are all an easy 12-minute drive away.

Let us assist you with pre-arrival arrangements so that you can arrive and relax with pre-stocked groceries, personal chefs, picnics on the beach, kayak tours, surf lessons, and anything else you want to do!

This property is intended for use by responsible adults and their families. There is a zero tolerance policy for parties, excessive noise and events. This home is equipped with noise monitoring systems and the noise ordinance will be strictly enforced.
No outside noise after 10pm, otherwise the police will be called and the violation will result in immediate eviction and $1,000.00 fine.

Please be aware every reservation check in must be met in person with a greeter from the property management company, self-check ins are not allowed. Our cut off for arrivals to check in is 8:00 p.m. after which a greeter will be available to meet at the property for access starting at 8:00 a.m. the following day. ID verification showing that the person checking in is the same as the credit card used on the reservation is mandatory. Failure to provide ID verification as requested will result in the cancellation of the reservation.
